“The Network!” Newsletter Issue # 145

Good Morning,

I hope you had a good Super Bowl and I hope your favorite team won. I would have preferred to see the Raiders vs. 49ers but I guess there’s always next year. Even if you don’t give a hoot about football, I hope you at least enjoyed the commercials. At just under $2 million for a 30-second ad, it’s the most expensive ad time you can buy. The advertising world calls it “The Ad Bowl.”

Here’s your updated list of Talent for Hire and Positions Available. Additionally, here is the 2002 annual ranking of, “The Joseph Michaels, Inc., Top Ten List of the Best Websites for Job Seekers.” If you’re not looking for work, knock on wood and consider forwarding this message to someone who is.

Even though things are improving, it can still be very tough out there for those looking for a job in the current market. If you or someone you know is unemployed and looking for work, I will send them our video free “How to Interview and Career Leveraging Techniques.” It’s a seminar we held recently at the Palace Hotel. Send me a self-addressed stamped envelope for a standard VHS video. There is no catch. Lots of people are out of work right now, and I just want to help. Besides, it’s good PR and I can’t afford even the 30-second spot yet in “The Ad Bowl.”

However, I have been re-reading my copy of “The Magic of Thinking Big,” by David J. Schartz, Ph.D. It’s a good book to read if you’re looking for a job, or even if you’re not. If everyone who reads this email hires a few people from me this year, I can afford an ad in Super Bowl 2003!

If you’re looking to hire, temporary or permanent, email us your job descriptions at mailto:[email protected] or just call us @ 1-800-786-1099!
