Job Connections

I wanted to let you know I will be giving a series of three Saturday morning lectures starting this Saturday morning at the CPC job connections group in Danville. It’s hosted at the Community Presbyterian Church – 222 West El Pintado Road, Danville. It’s mostly geared towards job seekers but anyone may attend. You don’t need a reservation, but do arrive early to get a good seat. They usually get 50-100 people but they said for a “big shot speaker” like me, it might be more. I reminded them that a “big shot” is just a “little shot” who kept on shooting!
Anyway, if you are job seeking and reading this or you have a friend in job search mode or if you just want to come hear a “big shot speaker,” the author of your favorite newsletter, for the price of a cup of coffee, come on down. We’ll be filming a new video so wear your Sunday best this Saturday and bring your famous smile. See you there!

Job Connections is an outreach of Community Presbyterian Church, Danville, CA.
Purpose:
Our purpose is to support and encourage unemployed people in their search for employment. Recruiters and hiring managers throughout the San Francisco Bay Area access our group to find candidates to fill employment opportunities.
Meeting Time and Location:
Job Connections meets weekly, on Saturday mornings, at Community Presbyterian Church, Room 100, 222 West El Pintado Road, Danville, CA from 9:00am to 11:15am. Signs are placed throughout the CPC campus directing visitors to the meeting room. We meet every Saturday for 2 hours, with the first hour focused on networking with others. During the second hour, we host guest speakers that have tips, techniques and advice to help our members improve their job searches and to more successfully manage the transition between career opportunities.
Driving Directions:
From Walnut Creek, travel south on Highway 680, take El Cero exit in Danville, at the bottom of the off ramp, continue south onto West El Pintado, go south about 3/4 of a mile. The church is on the left.
From San Ramon, travel north on Highway 680, take Diablo Road exit, at the bottom of the offramp, turn left onto Diablo Road, travel about a half mile, turn right onto W. El Pintado and go north about a half mile. The church will be on your right.
